In the framework of his work in the East of the country, Serhii Deineko attended the SBGSU units that are carrying out combat operations and countering the enemy in Lyman and Bakhmut directions.

During the conversation with the commanders and servicemen, he discussed the situation in the area of responsibility and the enemy’s tactics. The enemy is attempting to attack border guards' positions, but they are receiving an adequate response of our warriors.

During his presence in the area of full-scale combat operations, the chief of the SBGSU visited the positions of the 15th mobile border detachment "Steel border," as well as the positions of the Chop, Sumy, and Chernivtsi border guard detachments.

In each unit, they discussed the status of providing warriors with all necessary items, the most crucial needs to carry out tasks efficiently, and the interaction with all parts of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Serhii Deineko thanked the border guards for their resistance and professionalism during the defense of the country from invaders.

“Thank you for your service and for your love for Ukraine. Border guards together with other Ukrainian defenders continue to fight the enemy and remain at the front line of the defense. We will do all necessary to scatter the enemy from our land. And I should understand all your needs to make you stronger and provide all the necessary means for this purpose," the border agency chief noted.
